We are still glowing from the Marine Corps Marathon (MCM), which took place two weeks ago in Washington, D.C. This was the third largest gathering for the MCM, with a whopping 30,000 registered runners.

Army 2nd Lt. Trevor Lafontaine took home the gold with a time of 2:24:24 - not bad for his first marathon ever. Jenny Mendez Suanca was the first female finisher, coming in at 2:45:55. We’d be thrilled to finish a marathon, period, let alone cruise through 26.2 miles in two hours!

Relan set up shop at the MCM expo with gear and tote bags, wine totes, and backpacks made from the MCM finish line from last year. The MCM even ran a Twitter contest, where the first two runners to stop by the Relan booth won SuperSize Goodie Bags - Relan bags overflowing with sponsor gifts.

If you didn’t get a chance to pick up products during the race, fear not: We’re creating limited-edition products using this year’s finish line that you can buy at www.ownthemcmfinish.com. Keep on the lookout for these products in the next few weeks!

We’d love to see your bags in action! Post photos of your MCM finish line products with the hashtag #ownthemcmfinish and tag @relanbag on Twitter and @relangreen on Instagram.

A big thanks to everyone who stopped by to see us and pick up finish line products!

Check out a few pictures from the weekend and be sure to share your photos with us using the hashtag #ownthemcmfinish.
