Forks Over Knives could change your life and maybe save it!

If you are fascinated by the miracle of our bodies and how they work, and if you are curious as to how you can maintain a healthy body, you will find the documentary Forks Over Knives eye opening.  Whether you want to live to be 100 or you just want to live free of disease, this documentary will definitely give you some food for thought.

I hear it all the time, “I want to eat what I want to eat.”  I understand. Fried food is delicious! Cookies and candy are yummy! And cupcakes, pastries and ice cream are to die for . . . literally. These foods are killing us!  But is there an alternative? Can we really eat food that will keep us healthy and prevent many diseases? According to the documentary film, Forks Over Knives, yes we can.  Dr. T. Colin Campbell, a nutritional biochemist from Cornell University, and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, a former top surgeon at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic, join other renowned doctors and researchers in a discussion of healthy foods and how each one of us has the potential to live a healthy, drug-free, and disease-free life.

Forks Over Knives presents the data, research and explanations of why the foods that are so enticing are killing us. It explains why we crave sugar, salt, fats and processed foods, what these foods do to our bodies and brains, and why we must eliminate them from our diets to stay healthy. The documentary explains how much and, even more importantly, why we have increased our milk, dairy and meat intake since the beginning of the 1900s.  And, how, with the development of the suburbs, fast food, and TV dinners, our lives were changed forever for convenience.
